This is by far one of the best self improvement TED talks ever made. We all know that the way we’re feeling affects our body language. If you aren’t feeling very confident you tend to take up as little space as you can. Likewise, when you’re feeling amazing you take up more space than usual. Although that’s all really interesting, it’s fairly old news. Social psychologist Amy Cuddy has a totally different perspective on body language and behaviour that will totally change your life. Rather than looking at how our feelings affect our body language, Cuddy explores the way our body language shapes who we are. Her findings are at once totally unprecedented and incredibly useful.
